Related to the identifiability of a dataset/data item; where the identity of a person/organisation has been removed and therefore is not immediately obvious nor can be reasonably ascertained using other sources of information. The National Health and Medical Research Council discourages the use of this term as its meaning can be unclear, however, this term is still used by a number of other authorities.
